Chief Financial Officer

Over his career, Mr. Finley has been instrumental in raising nearly $1 billion in capital for companies in his roles both as an internal Chief Financial Officer and as an independent investment banker. Mr. Finley began his business career as a tax specialist with Deloitte & Haskins and Sells (now Deloitte & Touche), and later was co-owner of Mitchell Finley & Company, full-service accounting firm. After 15 successful years in public accounting, Mr. Finley joined MetroGolf, Inc. as its Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer where he successfully completed MetroGolf’s initial public offering and was instrumental in growing the start-up company to over 125 employees. Upon the sale of MetroGolf, Mr. Finley joined Phillips Capital, broker/dealer firm specializing in private debt and equity capital raises. In January 2006 Mr. Finley co-founded Proteus Capital Partners, Inc. a firm specialized in providing financing for a variety of businesses. Prior to joining Leading BioSciences, Mr. Finley was the CEO, President and CFO for PointAcross, Inc., a software company providing business messaging and communications services. Mr. Finley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Boise State University and a Master of Taxation degree from the University of Denver.
