Dr. Berry is a retired urologic surgeon with 36 years of experience in endoscopic and open surgical procedures. He has been a Principal Investigator for a study on a new biomarker for prostate cancer. He has served as a Clinical Associate Professor for the University of Nevada Medical School, and he has been a diplomate of the American Board of Urology since 1983. Dr. Berry received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Wooster College of Ohio and his medical degree from Tulane University of New Orleans. He completed two years of general surgery residency training at the University of California, Davis, and an additional four years of urologic residency training at Tulane Affiliated Hospitals in New Orleans, Louisiana. During his training at Tulane, Dr. Berry did a cancer research fellowship and served as a fellow for the National Prostate Cancer Project. Dr. Berry became a shareholder in Leading BioSciences six years ago, and he has since served on the Scientific Advisory Board, the Board Succession and Planning Committee, and most recently, the Board of Directors.
